Practical information – Transport and parking

The Brno Observatory and Planetarium is located in a park on Kraví hora. The building is modern, fully wheelchair accessible, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, making it the ideal venue for this year’s Cannabis and Science conference.

Public transport
Due to limited parking options in the vicinity of the park, we recommend using Brno’s public transport system.

Tram No. 4: The most direct connection from the city center. Get off at the final stop, Náměstí Míru. From the tram stop, it is approximately a 5-minute walk uphill through the park to the observatory.

Route of line 4: Main Station – Šilingrovo náměstí – Česká – Úvoz – Náměstí Míru.

Bus No. 80: Direct connection from Mendlovo náměstí to the Náměstí Míru stop.

Arrival by train and bus
From the Main Railway Station: Take tram No. 4 (towards Náměstí Míru) directly in front of the exit hall. The journey takes about 12 minutes.

From Zvonařka Bus Station: Take line 44 or 84 (circular lines) to the Mendlovo náměstí stop and from there continue by bus 80 to Náměstí Míru. Alternatively, walk to the Main Railway Station (approx. 10 min) and take tram no. 4.

Arrival from Brno-Tuřany Airport
Take bus line E76 to the Hlavní nádraží stop (approx. 20 min) and then change to tram no. 4.
