About the speaker:
Dr. Radovan Hřib is an algesiologist and anesthesiologist, and the head physician of the Pain Treatment Center at the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of the University Hospital in Brno (FNUSA) and the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University. He was born in Uherské Hradiště and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno. Since 1996, he has worked at FNUSA, where he specializes in the treatment of both chronic and acute pain—oncological and non-oncological—across the full spectrum of methods, from pharmacological treatment to the implantation of neuromodulation devices. On his initiative, FNUSA became the first state healthcare facility in the Czech Republic to begin prescribing medical cannabis.
