For active participation we also process the poster title, authors, abstract and the attached file. We use the data to register you, organise your participation, communicate with you and issue payment documents.
Legal basis: acceptance of your registration and performance of the participation agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations, such as accounting (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Visiting the website. Technical access logs (for example the IP address) are processed by the hosting provider to the extent necessary for secure operation.
Visitor statistics. If you consent to statistics cookies in the cookie banner, we measure website traffic with Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited). We collect, for example, the number of visits, pages viewed and traffic sources; we do not use advertising personalisation. The data may be transferred to the USA to Google LLC, a participant in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Nothing is measured without consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the Cookie settings button in the website footer.Optional consents in the forms. Besides the mandatory consent to the terms of participation and this privacy policy, you may voluntarily give the following consents in the form (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR):
- I agree to receive information about future editions of the conference at the e-mail address provided (optional, I can withdraw my consent at any time).
You can submit the registration without these consents. You can withdraw any consent at any time by e-mailing the controller; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it. We keep the wording of the consent and the time it was given as proof for the retention period of the registration.
How long we keep the data
Submitted registration forms are deleted from the website automatically after: until consent is withdrawn or erasure is requested. Data on accounting documents is kept for the period required by law.
Who receives the data
The data may be processed only by the conference organisers and by service providers without whom the website and e-mail cannot be operated (hosting, e-mail, website statistics by Google Analytics), under a data processing agreement. We do not sell the data or use it for third-party marketing.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing. If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
